Wild Woman Hair

This image has been in my mind for a couple of weeks and I have finally been able to put it on paper. I finger painted the lipstick with red acrylic (possibly because I was to lazy to snag a paint brush) and I am stoked on how it turned out.

Good morning

Coffee and a block of wood. If my mornings always started like this I would die a happy girl. But I wouldn't mind having a desk or a workspace haha oh a girl can only dream.....

Multicolored

A simple illustration. Started off as a pen and ink drawing and then I played around with it on photoshop a bit! Enjoy!

Andrew's birthday

for Andrew's 21st birthday I decided to do a watercolor portrait of us. With his room as a backdrop it was pretty easy with what to have in the painting. As you can see this painting also turned into a cut and paste piece and many of my watercolor illustrations always result in that. I actually love how it turned out with it cut and then repasted because it give it that extra pop to stand out. He really enjoyed it and now its something we will always have!

I have lied to you all. Here is my final final final illustration quote project. Lets just say I know my way around an x-acto blade now. I am really proud with how this came out.

I was featured

in Hello grey day's Moby Dick Collection! Im super stoked and man oh man has this sailor sailed across the interwebs.

Weird

I haven't really been able to draw to much for myself for the past few months now. Most of my classes are pretty demanding but during Spring Break I was able to let my pen fly around on my sketch pad.

And if you ask me, my drawings are getting a tad bit weirder...but i still dig it.

Just in case..

you were wondering what I have been up to in my classes.....

Here is a bison wood cut I did for my print making class. I snagged my wood from the scrap wood pile. I think its fun and challenging cutting on a scrap piece because the cut of wood really is in control of your image. Its exciting and challenging AND needless to say, I am hooked:

Here some simple water colors I am working on for my illustration class. We have to design a logo and my three subjects are Wine, French Bull Dog, and Los Angeles. We had to pull random subjects out of a hat and IIIIII got pretty darn lucky if you ask me!:

Frenchie Vin
